See that contraption? Bottom heavy. That's why I decided to start this week's mix with the heavy on top—like a sweet dollop of Cool hhhWhip. This'n's kicked off by Ty Segall's side project, Fuzz (and he means it). Elsewhere and in between, things get folky, get Portlandy, get Austin Texasy, get Willbilly and maybe even a bit dream poppy. Summertime's a-ticking away. We've already landed in the heart of September and have even seen a few autumnsy days—when the air feels crisp and smells like chimney smoke and burnt leaves. Don't know about you, but fall is my favorite time of year. Yet no fall is complete without the right anthem. Well. Gotcha covered.
